Happy Valentines day!

Several weeks ago I won a fabric pack form Dee at Her blog Mike & Gabby .   See the post here.

This is a charm pack, half yards for borders and sashing and the Dora Pattern from Me and My Sister Designs.  All I had to add was Valentine prints binding and backing which happened to be on sale  This was a fun and quick  Valentines project.  Thank you Dee!

Backing.  Mom thought it looked like fish bones rather than arrows.

I had enough charm squares left to make a second project.   This Scrappy Hearts was a project in the Old Craft Store's monthly newsletter.  This is a local Dallas area quilt shop. I added borders backing and backing, again all on sale!

 Scrappy Hearts

Borders and pipped binding.

I can always depend on Kirby helping me.

  1. WoW! I'm so impressed that you made 2 quilts in such a short time AND got them both quilted. I especially like the heart quilt you made with the leftovers and I see Kirby agrees! Happy Valentine's Day!

  2. Pretty quilt and fabrics. Thanks for your comments on my blog. You're set to no-reply, so I can't respond. Email me if you want to change that and I'll tell you how, threecatsranch at gmail dot com

  3. Very pretty! And a two-fer, too! YAY! Your machine quilting amazes me. Well, so does your machine piecing and embroidery and everything else! With 2 cats helping you for extra credit!!! hahaha!

  4. I LOVE this little heart quilt. Guess what? I'm gonna make one! Lord knows I have enough fabric for it!! LOL xxoo Patty

  5. Hi Nan, I just wanted to let you know I nominated you for a Liebster Award. No pressure though! I hope you have fun with it.
